Senior Investment Grade Reporter

9fin is looking for a Senior Investment Grade Reporter to join their team of financial journalists. The successful candidate will have experience in developing, reporting, and writing stories for publication, and a proven track record in covering fixed income markets. The role will involve building out a source base, delivering market-moving insights and scoops, and working collaboratively with other journalists to produce content.

Requirements

• Experience in developing, reporting, and writing stories for publication
• Proven experience covering fixed income markets (IG, HY, Loans, CLOs and/or ABS)
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Desire to build strong sourcing relationships across finance professionals
• Ability to write concise and fluent English, making technical topics accessible and engaging
• Ambition to carve out a coverage area and build own reputation as a financial journalist
