Job Description
A Peer Support Specialist serves as a mental health and/or co-occurring condition trained and certified to help others achieve specific life and recovery goals. Peers work as a bridge linking people to services in the community.
Requirements
- Certified Peer Support Specialist through the NCCPSSP
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance coverage, and reliable transportation
- Pass criminal background check and other regulatory checks
- Provide proof of your education
