Cyber Assurance Analyst to support the Reagan Test Site (RTS) Engineering and Technical Services (RETS) Program in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.
Requirements
- Lead the assessment of proposed system changes to ensure security posture is maintained.
- Evaluate technical and risk impacts of proposed network or software modifications against established cybersecurity baselines.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, quantify mission impact, and develop robust mitigation strategies for complex hardware and software infrastructures.
- Determine policy breaches and coordinate response efforts in strict accordance with the Incident Response Plan (IRP).
- Perform research and development to resolve high-level hardware and software cybersecurity challenges within the network environment.
- Exceptional technical writing skills and the ability to translate complex security risks into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to produce policies, procedures, reports, and RMF artifacts.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Checklist requirements and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).
- Working knowledge of Army Regulation 25-1 and 2 and related Cyber Assurance regulations and policies.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data via DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) reports, review Microsoft Defender, Firewalld, ClamAV, Elastic Stack, for security compliance and non-compliance reporting.
- Ability to develop and host Configuration Management related training and host associated meetings.
- DoD 8140.03 IAM Level III for Security Control Assessor: CISSP, CISA, CASP+, GCIA.
- Experience communicating security concerns and issues to non-technical audiences.
- Detail oriented and skilled in writing reports, standard operating procedures, and developing training presentations.
- Proficient at conducting trainings and briefings.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
