Paramedic: Full & Part Time Positions

A-MED Ambulance Service is hiring Paramedics for full and part-time positions. Paramedics will provide advanced life support care across a diverse call mix and take care of real people. We are looking for providers who take pride in being clinicians, not just responders, and who bring the same focus to every patient regardless of the call type.

Requirements

• Current Louisiana Paramedic certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Current National Registry Paramedic certification
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or equivalent)
• Valid Louisiana driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to pass a pre-hire functional job evaluation
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position, including lifting, moving, and assisting patients safely
• Ability to complete accurate clinical documentation and follow company policies, protocols, and operational expectations
