Family Connections Consultant - Mesa, AZ

A New Leaf is seeking a Family Connections Consultant I to provide direct, home-based support services to families involved with the Department of Child Safety. The role focuses on strengthening family protective factors, enhancing caregiver capacities, and promoting child safety through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based intervention and support services.

Requirements

• Work directly with families involved with the Department of Child Safety
• Provide intervention services related to parenting, mental health, domestic violence, and substance misuse/abuse
• Conduct assessments to ensure a safe environment for children
• Support services that strengthen family protective factors and enhance caregiver capacities
• Maintain confidential case records and document required paperwork
• Work cooperatively with the Department of Child Safety and community partners
• Develop caring and supportive relationships with families and community partners
