Job Description
We are seeking a bilingual Japanese/English paralegal with 3-5 years of experience in immigration law. As an immigration law paralegal, your responsibilities will include assisting attorneys with all aspects of immigration case preparation and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in immigration law
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of immigration forms, procedures, and filing requirements
- Familiarity with cultural sensitivities and nuances in dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ethical conduct and adherence to confidentiality guidelines in handling sensitive information
