A2H is a collaborative planning and design firm seeking a Project Architect with strong design experience in the healthcare market. The successful candidate shall have strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of the professional practice of architecture and project design process.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from NCARB accredited school
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
- Collaborative and professional work ethic
- Thorough knowledge of the professional practice of architecture with emphasis on client expectations
- Advanced knowledge of project design process, construction documentation, construction administration
- Ability to help define project scope, fees, and mitigate risk management
- Ability to direct or coordinate work efforts to technical staff
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working in multi-disciplinary team setting, collaborating, and mentoring and client satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of building codes and other engineering disciplines
- Thorough knowledge of the entire project delivery process and ability to lead construction administration efforts including leadership with the client, contractors, and internal project team
- Experience with sustainable design and benchmarking, LEED accredited preferred
