A2MAC1 is seeking a Propulsion (Hybrid & BEV Powertrain) Expert to deliver high-quality costing analyses and technical insights related to propulsion systems, including hybrid and battery electric powertrains, combustion engines, transmissions, and power electronics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in powertrain engineering, automotive cost engineering, or related technical roles
- Experience with hybrid and electric propulsion systems preferred
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers is highly valued
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics
- Strong expertise in hybrid and electric powertrain systems, combustion engines, transmissions, and power electronics
- Deep understanding of propulsion system cost drivers and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of design-to-cost methodologies and automotive cost structures
- Ability to analyze complex engineering systems and cost trade-offs
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in international and cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with internal costing tools is a plus
- Fluent English (written and spoken); French or German is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
