Job Description
AAA United States, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist-Class A to install, repair, and align shipboard equipment. The role involves maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency while working in a team environment. The company provides specialized subcontracting and technical assistance to clients in the transport and aerospace industries.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant trade experience
- Two (2) years of shipbuilding experience
- Comparable apprenticeship training or one year as a B-Class Outside Machinist
- Demonstrated expertise in shaft alignment techniques
- Working knowledge of machining procedures and mechanical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with ship terminology
- Competence in reading and understanding written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely operate machinery
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to travel
