Works closely with other mechanics and maintenance personnel on aircraft structural modifications, upgrades, and repairs. Identifies damaged or weakened structures and develops appropriate repair plan to restore component airworthiness. Communicates effectively and works well as a member of a team.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- Must meet one of the following requirements: A Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related structural aircraft maintenance experience. An Associate's degree plus 4 years of related structural aircraft maintenance experience. High School Diploma plus 8 years of related structural aircraft maintenance experience.
- F-16 experience is strongly preferred, but other fighter jet experience may be considered
- Experience in reading, comprehending, and interpreting technical documents, including manuals, technical data, and blueprints
- Basic knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
