Senior Systems Engineer

Role Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. The Systems Engineer will provide technical support for the program, including pre-installation support, installation process oversight, and program reviews.

What You Will Do

Provide technical support for the TAAS program, including pre-installation support, installation process oversight, and program reviews. Prepare technical documents, management reports, and conduct technical presentations. Perform validation of systems and analyze results of major engineering systems.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This position requires a strong background in civil or mechanical engineering, experience conducting site surveys, and proficiency with process modeling and developing workflow diagrams. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in systems engineering
• Master's degree in a related field
• Strong background in civil or mechanical engineering
• Experience conducting site surveys
• Experience working on each stage of the system development life cycle
• Demonstrated proficiency with process modeling and developing workflow diagrams
• Ability to elicit and interpret requirements and translate to technical specifications/system design
• US citizenship
• Current Secret clearance
