For over 60 years, Abbeyfield has been a charity that provides housing and care for elderly people across the UK. As a Cook, you'll create healthy balanced menus, plan, prepare and cook residents' meals, and ensure a safe and sufficient supply of catering products.

Requirements

• Relevant Certificate in Food Hygiene
• Demonstrable experience of cooking varied, healthy and safe meals to large groups
• Ability to communicate and interact well with people
• Methodical and highly organised
• Good standard of reading and writing
• Empathy and understanding of the nutritional needs of older people
