Commercial Counsel

This is a commercial counsel position at Abbott, a global healthcare leader. The role supports the Core Diagnostics division and involves identifying and resolving complex legal issues. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of corporate and commercial/transactional law and experience with general corporate law matters, commercial agreements, and healthcare industry.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial attorney at a top law firm or in-house
• Healthcare industry or other relevant industry experience strongly preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environment and exercise sound commercial and legal judgment
• Ability to independently handle complex matters with minimal supervision and understand which issues to elevate to senior management and the appropriate timing for doing so.
