Manufacturing Process Engineer II

Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. The company is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II to join their team in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The successful candidate will work as a front-line manufacturing engineer, supporting the Operations team and troubleshooting mechanical equipment and process issues. The role requires strong hands-on presence on the production floor, excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience with process validation and regulated manufacturing standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
• 2–4 years of manufacturing engineering experience, with hands-on exposure to injection molding environments.
• Demonstrated experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and regulated manufacturing standards.
• Strong background working with capital equipment, tooling, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in team-based environments; capable of influencing, driving change, and motivating peers.
