Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property to support its Structural Heart business. The successful candidate will manage and direct intellectual property issues within the division.
Requirements
- Strong scientific or engineering degree
- Knowledge of patent law and experience advising clients on intellectual property issues
- Experience with software/digital products is a plus
- Admitted to and in good standing with a U.S. state bar and the USPTO
- 7+ years of patent law practice (law firm or corporate)
- JD from an accredited law school
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
