Sr. Quality Technician

Abbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life. We're seeking a Sr. Quality Technician to work in our Electrophysiology Division in Plymouth, MN. The role involves performing visual, dimensional and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED, 5 years of relevant work experience, and quality inspection experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Quality inspection experience, including use of optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, and blueprint reading with sampling techniques
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP, ISO 13485; medical device component inspection experience and ASQ CMI certification preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (Word, Excel); high attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‐paced, matrixed, and geographically diverse environments
• Flexible and dependable, with ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
