Job Description
Abilities First, Inc. is seeking a Community Connections Specialist to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them with living more independent lives through various recreational activities and personal support services. The role focuses on mentorship, coaching, and documenting activities, providing opportunities for skill development and independence. Multiple locations within Dutchess and Ulster Counties are open for recruitment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current NYS driverās license deemed āacceptableā
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Verbal and written communication skills
