Job Description
We are looking for a patient, energetic, and passionate Teacher Assistant for our LaGrange School Program in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or people with disabilities and hold a NYS Teacher Assistant Certification.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certification
- Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities (a plus)
- Ability to push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot, and grasp with both hands
