Job Description
ABM is looking for a Facilities Supervisor to oversee projects, supervise day-to-day team operations, and ensure performance goals are met for a designated site. May perform administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a Class A apartment complex or similar high-end residential environment
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and maintenance best practices
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a maintenance team, ensuring that all members perform at their best
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and management
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
