Software Engineer II - Model Platform

Abnormal AI is looking for a Software Backend Engineer II to join the Detection Team and build systems for the Model Platform. The ideal candidate should have a first principles approach to building scalable, customer-centric solutions and a drive to solve meaningful & pragmatic problems for real-world people.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in AI tools to accelerate engineering outcomes
• Experience in maintaining large scale distributed systems on cloud platforms
• Familiarity with real-time and near real-time data pipelines or streaming services
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization
