Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) for Product Sorting - development of intelligent product stream sorting using user signals with NodeJS and TypeScript, efficient management of large data sets using Google BigQuery, and seamless integration into business intelligence systems and our data platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building scalable APIs (e.g. with Node.js, Python, or Go)
- Practical and current experience with a statically-typed programming language (e.g. TypeScript)
- Solid knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Datadog)
- Practical experience with a cloud ecosystem (e.g. AWS, GCP) and integration with orchestration services (e.g. Dagster or Airflow)
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
- Experience in building data models with dbt
- Experience in operating data processing pipelines with distributed data processing frameworks
- Practical experience with machine learning models or LLM-based systems
