Engineering Manager, AI Productivity

Abridge is a rapidly growing startup that uses AI to improve healthcare delivery experiences. The company is looking for an engineering manager to drive improvements in developer experience and productivity across its platform organization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience in rapidly growing organizations
• Experience leading and growing teams of engineers, including hiring and performance management
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to scope work, prioritize effectively, and deliver results
• Comfortable working hands-on with technical systems, including architecture and design discussions
• Experience building and evolving platform systems that improve developer velocity and system reliability
• Experience improving developer experience across local development, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and developer workflows
• Experience using metrics to drive improvements in developer productivity (e.g., DORA metrics, build times, deployment frequency, onboarding time)
• Familiarity with production systems in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Experience with containerized environments, Kubernetes, and modern infrastructure tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Istio, Atmos)
• Strong track record of leveraging AI tools and workflows to materially improve developer productivity, engineering velocity, and operational efficiency
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and functions, including security as a key partner
• Passion for building high-performing teams and delivering impactful infrastructure
• Genuine passion for Abridge's mission to improve healthcare in America and across the world
