Senior Scientist, Immunology & Bioassays

Absci is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Senior Scientist to join their Pharmacology and Bioassays team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in immunology and experience developing and executing in vitro and ex vivo cell-based assays.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in Pharmacology, Immunology/Inflammation, Physiology, cell biology, or related disciplines
• At least 5+ years of post-PhD academic and/or industry experience in immunology, immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, or related field
• Extensive experience with flow-based in-depth characterization of immune cell populations in blood and tissue samples
• Experience with cell-based assays, ELISA, MSD, qPCR, microscopy, histology/pathology
• Demonstrated expertise with complex 2D/3D functional cell-based and tissue-based assays
• Experience with leveraging complex data sets to characterize and establish a drug's therapeutic mechanisms of action
