Machinist

Sets up and operates machine tools within the work cell, loads materials into machines, and produces finished parts that conform to proper dimensions.

Requirements

• Changes settings or programs and tooling inserts to achieve proper dimensions of finished parts
• Operates one or more machine tools to produce high-quality parts in an efficient manner
• Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions in various software systems
• Performs daily and weekly routine machine maintenance
• Moves between machines in the cell as directed by area manager
