Job Description
Abtech Technologies is seeking a Remote Senior Data Protection Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, 35-year-old privately owned IT Services company headquartered in San Diego, CA, with benefits. The role involves implementing data protection solutions, testing and validating Dell products, and providing pre/post-sales support. Candidates must have a strong understanding of Dell Data Protection products.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Dell Data Protection products (Data Domain, Avamar, IDPA, Networker)
- Deep knowledge of scoping and sizing Dell Data Protection solutions
- Dell Technical Architect and/or Implementation Engineer certifications for Dell DPS
- Ability to pass or possess Dell DPS certifications
- Knowledge of Quest, NetVault, and Veeam products (desirable)
- Knowledge of backup software (Commvault, Veritas, etc.) (desirable)
