Job Description
The Evening Math Teacher is responsible for creating a supportive learning environment and delivering quality math instruction to adult learners. The position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in secondary or adult education, with a focus on math and science standards. The teacher will work with a diverse population and have strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and secondary or adult education experience required
- Experience with Common Core and/or College and Career Readiness Standards for Adults
- Strong content knowledge related to GED math and science standards
- Strong cultural competency skills required, including excellent ability to communicate with a diverse population
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
