Job Description
Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School is seeking a High School ELA Teacher to lead a classroom and design standards-aligned courses. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with expertise in content area(s) and a commitment to diversity and equity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree is preferred
- Certification or licensure to teach in Massachusetts or passing score on MTEL tests
- SEI endorsement or completion within the first year of employment
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in a charter or district school setting serving a similar demographic
- Expertise in and enthusiasm for content area(s)
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
