Job Description
American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) is looking for a Vessel Support Services Representative who ensures vessels are staffed with qualified Team Members based on vessel needs.
Requirements
- Ensure vessels are staffed at appropriate personnel levels.
- Document exceptions to standard pay practices and coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure all Team Members have appropriate credentials and licensing prior to boarding vessels.
- Provide customer service to crew members.
- Collaborate with Travel Team to coordinate best available transportation to and from vessels.
- Ensure budgetary guidelines and travel policies are adhered to.
- Engage with other Dispatch Team Members in a team environment to coordinate solutions for shortages and open billets.
