DevOps Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with containerization technologies, and a deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS.

Requirements

• Minimum of 14 years of DevOps experience supporting Linux based systems on similar programs and contracts
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field
• Five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree
• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Experience documenting and implementing security controls to Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, or similar container and orchestration technologies
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
