Information Systems Security Officer - Senior

The Senior ISSO will provide security governance and compliance oversight for critical systems, ensuring adherence to federal security requirements and maintaining continuous authorization. This role leads the development, review, and maintenance of key security artifacts including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and POA&Ms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity or ISSO experience
• Experience with a GRC tool (XACTA or JCAM preferred)
• Experience with vulnerability management, log review, and security control assessment
• Strong knowledge of RMF, FISMA compliance, and federal security documentation
