Security Engineer

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Security Engineer to assist in the design, development, and implementation of security and privacy measures and systems. The successful candidate will support the development of security policies and procedures, monitor compliance with security and privacy standards, and conduct basic security assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, basic knowledge of security tools and techniques
• Good analytical and communication skills
• One of the following certifications: GIAC/CISSP/CASP+, or equivalent DoD 8140/8570-level certification
• Basic cyber planning and analysis skills
• Experience in securing information systems, network infrastructures, or related technologies
• In-depth technical knowledge of current methods for securing information sources and delivery mechanisms
• Ability to define procedures relevant to securing technology
• Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
