Job Description
The Social Work Intern will assist with providing direct support to clients at the emergency shelter, adhering to Individual Service Plans, and researching resources for families and individuals.
Requirements
- Completion of High School Diploma or GED program
- Enrollment in a 2-year or 4-year accredited social work program
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, coordinate and organize effectively
- Strong computer and problem solving skills
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing the homeless population
- Valid Ohio driver's license and dependable transportation
