Design Manager

ACCIONA is a global company that develops regenerative infrastructure. The Design Manager will lead the design management team on large and complex construction projects, including reviewing and coordinating design disciplines, managing the Value Engineering design process, and acting as an interface between Estimating, Design Consultants, and Construction Teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Demonstrated experience on civil work construction projects
• Experience in Design & Build / Alternative Finance Projects, major infrastructure projects
• P.Eng. and or P.E designation is an asset
• Technical knowledge in civil disciplines including roadway, structures, drainage, pavement and geotechnical.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and incorporate design changes throughout tender phase.
• Ability to ensure design complies with project standards and specifications.
• Ability to interact with other team members as technical lead.
