Project Engineer - Electrical

Join ACCIONA's team as a Project Engineer - Electrical to work on the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission project. The project involves designing and building high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs, and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects to electricity consumers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, structural engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years post graduate experience ideally working on large scale renewable energy transmission lines, substations or infrastructure style projects
• Problem solving / analytical skills
• Competent in planning, cost control and organising work schedules
• Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied
• Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Clear communication – verbal and written.
• High attention to detail
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Package
