Wind and PV Resource Technician

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind and PV Resource Technician to support its Southeast Asia operations based in Manila. The role involves data analysis, site prospecting, and technical inputs to engineering and construction teams. The candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing meteorological data measurement campaigns, configuring and selecting sensors, and overseeing installation and maintenance of remote sensors devices. The role requires a technical diploma or degree in engineering or physical science, proficiency in MS-Office programs, and experience in the energy sector.

Requirements

• Graduate with a technical diploma/ degree (preferably engineering or physical science) as a minimum.
• Must be proficient with MS-Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint.
• Capabilities with drafting and mapping software preferred: MapInfo, ESRI ArcGIS, Arc Pad, Trimble GPS, Google Earth.
• Knowledge and experience with databases.
• Proficient in English
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Energy sector
• Good understanding of renewable energy projects
• Willingness and ability to travel within Southeast Countries where ACCIONA has its activities
