Lead Structural Engineer

Lead Structural Engineer responsible for delivering engineering services from conceptual design through construction completion, managing project planning, coordination, and execution, and communicating project designs with Project Management, Construction, and Service departments.

Requirements

• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license highly desirable, but not required. Must be able to obtain within a short period of time
• 3+ years of experience with a Structural Engineering Firm or Seismic Bracing Firm
• Excellent understanding of engineering and design fundamentals
• Excellent familiarity with building codes and industry standards
• Thorough understanding of seismic bracing design, attachment design, supplemental support design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, or similar drafting software preferred
• Knowledgeable with 3D modeling software to create design and installation packages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently with limited oversight, as well as part of a highly collaborative team
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
