Job Description
Disability Support Worker (DSW / PCA) – High Intensity & Complex Care role supporting a participant with complex physical care needs in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. High-responsibility Supported Independent Living (SIL) role delivering safe, structured care, manual handling, and hoist transfers. Competitive pay rates, 12% superannuation, 5 weeks annual leave, onsite training, and clear career progression pathways.
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent
- Experience in high physical support or complex care environments
- Manual handling and hoist experience
- Experience with personal care, continence care, and meal assistance
- Strong understanding of care plans, scope of practice, and escalation procedures
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
