Laborer, Grounds Maintenance

Maintains grounds of industrial, commercial, or public property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields, and repairs structures and equipment. Performs tasks such as cutting grass, trimming hedges and edges, pruning shrubs and trees, spraying fertilizer or insecticide, planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, and removing snow from walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots.

Requirements

• Background check
• Drug testing
• Military veteran preferred
• Functions well around staff and visitors
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial grounds maintenance equipment
• Knowledge of safe use and disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, life, or move for extended periods
