Job Description
The Manager, Strategic Planning plays a critical role in translating senior leadership vision into execution across AccuWeather’s enterprise.
Requirements
- Capture, structure, and synthesize strategic priorities directly from the CEO and senior leadership
- Translate ideas into clear options, recommendations, and execution paths, including tradeoffs and sequencing
- Drive clarity on decision-making and ensure strategic initiatives have clear outcomes and accountability
- Assign and maintain single-point ownership for high-impact initiatives to ensure follow-through
- Track progress, surface risks early, and close execution loops
- Prepare concise analyses (ROI, scenarios, tradeoffs) to support fast, high-quality decisions
- Maintain a clear, living view of enterprise priorities to ensure focus and momentum
- Partner closely with senior leaders across product, technology, forecasting, and commercial teams
- Reduce friction, ambiguity, and rework by driving clarity on priorities and ownership
- Enable senior leaders to spend more time on high-value work by accelerating execution velocity
- Performs other duties as assigned
