Job Description
The New York Grants Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that critical resources reach the students and schools who need them most. This role involves stewarding more than $5 million in state and federal grant funding across 11 charters and 22 schools, developing compelling program narratives and aligned budgets, and ensuring strong compliance with state and federal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience managing state and federal grants in the education sector
- Knowledge of state and federal grant regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working with federal programs under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
- Ability to analyze budgets and monitor fiscal compliance of grant funds
