Job Description
Achievement First seeks a Seasonal Outreach Associate to support community engagement and student recruitment efforts. The SOA will conduct on-ground outreach to prospective families in Brooklyn/Queens, New York. This is a part-time position for 10-20 hours a week, with a compensation of $35/hour.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Strong work ethic and “roll-up-my-sleeves” attitude
- Results-oriented individual and willing to do “whatever it takes”
- Experience with CRM tools/platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to education, low income communities, and communities of color
- Ability to work after-hours and on weekends
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
