Job Description
The ACLU is seeking a Summer Legal Intern in their Disability Rights Program, Veterans' Advocacy of the National office in New York City or San Francisco. The internship involves legal research, writing, and advocacy to advance the ACLU’s mission to ensure equal access to rights and promote inclusion for people with disabilities. Interns will work with attorneys and support staff to achieve various goals, including litigation and advocacy efforts.
Requirements
- Current legal student matriculated in the U.S.
- U.S. residency throughout the internship
- Completion of at least one year of law school prior to commencement
- Interest in disability and disability rights
