The Content & Communications Specialist will ensure clarity, consistency, and quality in both Acorn's external messaging and internal communications. The role involves producing high-quality written content across marketing, business development, and thought leadership outputs, as well as managing internal communications that keep teams aligned and informed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in content creation, communications, marketing, or a similar role
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong copywriting skills across multiple formats
- Strong tone of voice control, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Strong stakeholder communication skills; able to gather input and align messaging
- Clear thinking and ability to simplify complex or technical ideas
- Strong editing, proofreading, and attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong time management; able to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience managing or supporting internal communications is a plus
