Software Engineer

Acre Security is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their Cloud Development team and contribute to pioneering security technologies that protect businesses and communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Strong C# and.NET expertise - 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and modern.NET frameworks (Core/5+), with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Cloud and microservices proficiency - Proven experience building and deploying cloud-native applications using microservices architecture on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Systems integration experience - Demonstrated ability to integrate with hardware systems, third-party APIs, and protocols commonly used in physical security or IoT environments
• MQTT protocol expertise - Hands-on experience implementing MQTT-based communication for IoT device connectivity, message brokering, and real-time data exchange in distributed systems
• Technical breadth - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, message queues, event-driven architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Problem-solving mindset - Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges and deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
