Industrial Security Specialist

The Industrial Security Specialist will provide technical security support for the Security IPT in managing, drafting, updating, reviewing, and maintaining all DoD DD Form 254's. The contractor shall assist the Government in interpreting any changes to industrial security policy and make implementation recommendations.

Requirements

• Drafting DD-254s for prime contractors and/or subcontractors and update/revise existing DD-254s as changes occur.
• Maintaining all appropriate supporting documentation for each DD-254 on file.
• Validating each contractor's facility clearance and storage level.
• Coordinating with F-35 JPO Personnel Security (PERSEC) team to validate the DD-254 status for all contract personnel prior to processing for SAP access.
• Preparing and coordinating National Interest Determinations (NIDs).
• Providing guidance on the DD-254 process.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining the DD-254 database of record.
• Developing and maintaining the SAP Addendums required for classified DD-254s.
• Providing written monthly report summaries for all DD 254s that have been submitted to the JPO Industrial Security office.
