Job Description
We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to support young people with additional needs in our Edinburgh and Lothians Outreach Service. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key part in promoting safety, nurturing resilience, and encouraging independence. You will plan and deliver personalised outreach sessions, spend time getting to know each young person, and support them as they work towards their own goals.
Requirements
- SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People / HNC in Social Care, or a genuine enthusiasm to work towards gaining this qualification
- Experience in a residential care setting is an advantage
- A thoughtful, confident understanding of safeguarding
- A strong commitment to upholding the rights, voices, and wellbeing of the children and young people you support
- A positive, open approach to learning, with a willingness to engage in the training and development opportunities we offer
- A driving licence and access to a car
