ActioNet is seeking a Network Operations Engineer (Tier II) to join our team in Multiple CONUS locations. This role requires up to 10% travel and is designated as a Mission Essential position under DFARS 252.237-7023. The Network Operations Engineer (Tier II) will provide Tier 2 technical expertise, perform break/fix and maintenance activities, and oversee monitoring of network assets per SLAs.
Requirements
- Multi-disciplined network engineer experience maintaining and fixing wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions in response to network faults, errors, incidents, and problems
- Provides touch labor for all network devices
- Performs break/fix and maintenance activities
- Monitors network dashboards, analyzing problems, troubleshooting escalated incidents, coordinating, and reporting all operational information concerning the enterprise network infrastructure
- Provides subject matter expertise for LAN, WAN, firewalls, and other network technologies
- Leads root cause analysis and suggests resolutions for network infrastructure problems
- Installs and supports remote access platforms such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Experience with Cisco command line interface and configuration
- Troubleshoots complex problems to closure
- Assesses and implements Change Requests as needed in accordance with the Change Management process
