Nurse Practitioner - Corrections (Notional)

The Nurse Practitioner – Corrections will provide advanced nursing services and patient care in the facility’s medical program to inmates/residents. The successful applicant should be able to perform a variety of functions, including providing comprehensive nursing care, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and maintaining absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college or university’s nursing program with a degree and possess a current licensure and/or certification as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with training in family practice in the state of employment.
• One year of professional nursing experience required.
• BLS certification.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
