HSE Coordinator - Parkland Refinery

Acuren is seeking a professional and motivated Health & Safety Coordinator to support operations at Parkland Refinery in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the safety field and be passionate about promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• NCSO certification
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a field-based safety role within an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards
• Proven experience participating in safety management processes, including safety committees, working groups, audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Heavy industrial operations experience is considered a strong asset
• Demonstrated ability to conduct hazard assessments, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other safety management or reporting systems, with strong overall computer competency
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with refined interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels to foster a proactive and positive safety culture
