Post Processing Engineering Intern

Acutec is an employee-owned manufacturer of flight-critical components & assemblies for Aerospace & Defense markets. We are hiring for our ASCEND internship program where students can present a capstone project to the CEO/President of the organization. Interns have the opportunity to collaborate with teams partnering with premiere Aerospace customers.

• Assist with the improvement of policies and processes to enhance productivity and eliminate waste
• Assist with strategic improvement initiatives within the organization to improve key features such as quality, delivery, cost, and safety
• Assist in the development and revision of grind set-up sheets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and repeatability in grinding operations
• Utilize SolidWorks to review part models, support fixture or tool updates, and assist with process documentation
• Assist with day-to-day tasks as well as special projects as assigned
• Successfully complete all assigned trainings including Acutec Culture training and Safety training
